Any evaluation of left unity must include an evaluation of the Leninist/Trotskyist suppression and killing of anarchists, libertarian socialists (like yourself), and reformist socialists and of the workers councils, etc. The reason people are sometimes taken aback by your defense of Marxist-Leninist regimes is because they imprisoned and slaughtered people like you, both prior to and after Stalin.

I would say Heroic conservatives, personally. The conservatives who oppose fascism in practice have always been a minority in the movement since the rise of fascism. The only exception was in countries that were attacked by fascists during world war 2, where men like Churchill and DeGaul lead the anti fascist united fronts.
